Guggul Resin, Commiphora Mukul Myrrh - 1 Ounce, 30 Grams
You will get 30 grams / 1 ounce of this lovely natural Guggul resin coming from the Commiphora Wightti / Commiphora Mukul myrrh tree for burning incense. It is a flowering plant in the family Burseraceae, which produces a fragrant resin called gugal, guggul or gugul, that is used in incense and vedic medicine (or ayurveda). The guggul plant may be found from northern Africa to central Asia. On the pictures you see an example of 30 grams / 1 ounce of this natural resin. Will come in resealable kraft paper packaging. Latin name: Commiphora mukul or Commiphora Wightii Also know as: Indian bdellium-tree, gugal, guggul, gugul or Mukul myrrh tree Fragrance: Spicy, cardamom like, musky, balsamic, sweet, heavy, heady and rich. Properties: grounding, arousing, invoking, clearing This type of resin is said to have strong purifying powers (Ghost fear) and its balsamic sweet scent is ideal for a purifying evening incense. In India, this incense is often used for prayers, religious ceremonies and to improve your personality and cleanse your house. How to Burn Resins: Light the charcoal with matches or lighter for about 20 seconds until it self-ignites. Once lit, Incense charcoal is self-burning; the means of combustion is included in the disk. Use tongs to hold it up (never hold it with your fingers alone or you might get burned). Place the lit charcoal in a bowl or any incense burner. The bowl or incense burner should be filled with sand or dirt. Let the charcoal warm for a few minutes. (It turns gray around the edges when it is ready) Now you are ready! Add a small amount of resin on top of the charcoal. The resin will burn and soon release essential, aromatic oils through the smoke. Continue to place resins or powder on charcoal as they burn out and smoke decreases for a continuous burn. Shipping upgrades available while ordering.
